Leisa Everhart is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist working independently through Family Psychological Services. She holds a Florida State License in School Psychology. Leisa has specialties in completing psycho-educational evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is an expert in the administration and interpretation of assessment tools for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including the ADOS-2. Leisa Everhart has worked with a special focus on assessing children with learning problems including the following: Learning Disorders/Dyslexia, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD), Intellectual Disabilities, and Developmental Delays. Leisa also conducts IQ testing for children to be considered for the Gifted Program in the schools. She provides recommendations and interventions to both parents and teachers to help children based on evaluation results. Leisa works with both private and public schools. She provides assistance and direction in the development of 504 Plans and Individual Education Plans (IEP's). Leisa also completes Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE).

Leisa Everhart provides Educational Advocate and Parent Advocate Services to families. She provides assistance and direction to parents of students with disabilities in navigating the complex world of special education.

Leisa Everhart has provided services to families and children for over 23 years in Pinellas County, Florida. She offers reasonable rates. In addition, weekend appointments are available. Most families are able to schedule an appointment within two weeks of their first contact with Leisa. In order to expedite the evaluation process, insurance payment is not accepted. Payment is accepted via credit card, personal check and cash.
