Learning Disabilities/Disorders
Leisa is a Florida licensed school psychologist that conducts comprehensive Learning Disorder/Disability evaluations. The comprehensive evaluation consists of an intellectual assessment to assess ability level, a comprehensive assessment of academic skills to assess levels of reading, written language, and math, and a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive processing skills. This comprehensive evaluation assists with the diagnosis of learning problems, as well as assist with the identification of the individual’s strengths and weaknesses. Once the evaluation has been completed, Leisa Everhart is able to generate a report with findings and provide recommendations and interventions appropriate to address the needs of the individual for learning. Research based interventions are included for both at home and at school. The results can be shared with the school to assist in the development of a 504 Plan or an Individual Education Plan (IEP).
Autism Spectrum Disorders
Leisa Everhart conducts comprehensive psycho - educational evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule -2 (ADOS-2), the Autism Spectrum Rating Scales, and the Social Responsiveness Scale -2 in combination with other test instruments to complete a comprehensive evaluation. Once the evaluation has been completed, Leisa Everhart is able to generate a report with findings and provide recommendations and interventions appropriate to address the needs of the individual for learning. Research based interventions are included for both at home and at school. The results can be shared with the school to assist in the development of a 504 Plan or an Individual Education Plan (IEP).
Attention Deficit Disorder
Leisa Everhart conducts comprehensive psycho - educational evaluations for Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD) including tests of continuous performance and behavior rating scales in combination with other test instruments to complete a comprehensive evaluation. Once the evaluation has been completed, Leisa Everhart is able to generate a report with findings and provide recommendations and interventions appropriate to address the needs of the individual for learning. Research based interventions are included for both at home and at school. The results can be shared with the school to assist in the development of a 504 Plan or an Individual Education Plan (IEP).
Intellectual Disabilities
Leisa Everhart conducts comprehensive psycho- educational evaluations for Intellectual Disabilities. Variety of age appropriate intellectual and adaptive functioning tests to identify Intellectual Disabilities. Once the evaluation has been completed, Leisa Everhart is able to generate a report with findings and provide recommendations and interventions appropriate to address the needs of the individual for learning. Research based interventions are included for both at home and at school. The results can be shared with the school to assist in the development of a 504 Plan or an Individual Education Plan (IEP).
Developmental Delays
Leisa Everhart is able to conduct psycho-educational evaluations to identify Developmental Delays in young children including (Adaptive , Social/Emotional/Behavioral, Communication, Motor, and Cognitive Delays). Once the evaluation has been completed, Leisa Everhart is able to generate a report with findings and provide recommendations and interventions appropriate to address the needs of the individual for learning. Research based interventions are included for both at home and at school. The results can be shared with the school to assist in the development of a 504 Plan or an Individual Education Plan (IEP).
